Making Work Environment EvolveModern Work Environment Lab was created in 2008 by Martin Carpentier and Patrick Laflamme Duval. In the first 12 months of operation, MWE Lab's main objective was to further develop the design and prototyping work initiated by Martin Carpentier on the original and ground breaking Emperor 200 computer work environment. After a year of intensive work and testing, the Emperor 200 was shown to the public for the first time at the CES 2009 in Las Vegas and offered commercially through NovelQuest Enterprises Inc. a few months later. Following the successful launch of the Emperor 200, a second workstation development project named Tiberian, also lead by designer Martin Carpentier, was begun in January 2010. The result was the Emperor 1510 as known today. In April 2011, MWE Lab, which is already in charge of product design and production, takes over the commercialization related responsibilities from NovelQuest to market the Emperor products and related branded merchandise worldwide. Present Emperor customers include individuals and companies in the technology, engineering, medical, military, science and gaming industries. |
